This is an instrumental piece I wrote for a play in a Houston theater around 2005. It never had a name. I continued to perform it regularly. At Burning Man 2007 I met one of my dearest friends. She is the person in my story that invited me to Burning Girl and walked me out to the lonesome Starr Saloon to play my first show as Mr Brandy and try out some new songs on Burners at midnight.
She had loved this tune more than anybody and request every time I played
One night while visiting her and Tomcat in the Sierras of Nevada, I played this for Adela, as she sat outside the van, viewing the mountains on a beautiful night. It was that moment the song was hers forever.
I play this differently every time and really like this particular take.
